FLOWERING OF MY DREAM
Martin Luther King brought about a societal revolution in USA with his "I have a dream" statement. Someone else said, "Dream big dreams." In 2003 I went to Rome to do my doctoral studies in philosophy.
"In 2004 I went to Austria to learn German. Before I went to Rome I had a dream about a music school. My first contact with my friends in Austria brought out my hidden desire to learn more music and to provide similar opportunities to our children and youth back in India. I really felt that I went to a right place and met right people in Austria. As I first went to Brunnenthal (Austria) my dream slowly became an idea. I slowly started to talk about this idea with my friends there and this idea became more and more clear.
After I returned to India I prayed a lot and reflected about it. I wanted God to reveal me that what I was going to do in the future was really His will. After discussing with some of my close friends in India, and after being convinced within my heart that God will surely stand by me in this new endeavor, I started to experiment with this idea. The fruit of this experiment was what we have "De Sales Music Academy." De Sales Music Academy is a music school which I started in Bangalore in 2007 after I returned from Rome.
In April 2007 I conducted a summer camp for a month-long intense music course. Though it was difficult to organize this camp, yet with the support of my friends and colleagues I was able to successfully conduct the camp. The summer music camp was conducted with the financial help organized by my friends. This camp was conducted under the banner of "De Sales Music Academy" and this was the first beginning of what I dreamt of a music school. I credit all the success of my new initiative first of all to God and then to all my friends both in Europe and India."
